Walk with me here. It’s 7pm, you’re in Stoke Newington, on a Wednesday night. What do you do? You have post-Brexit conversations with others who are in their 20s and 30s, of course. Right? And to top it off, the setting for this interesting dialogue? The basement of a bar/cafe.
Last week, I found myself in the scenario described. While nibbling on delicious Turkish cuisine, I became really engrossed by some of the speakers, as well as conversations between attendees regarding various political and social issues. Creative Opportunities & My Life My Say ran the event, with Stereo92 being a great venue host, which had thought-provoking speakers and great audience interaction. The event was also used to make the audience aware of the work of Undivided, who is ”a nationwide campaign to promote the demands of young people for the Brexit negotiations.”
Below is the visual story for the event.
