My name is Francis and I am an Angolan born, London based freelance photographer.

The works of Vivian Maire was the trigger that inspired me to explore street photography - in capturing the everyday. I became obsessed with investigating people as a whole, and individuals, learning their story and capturing it. This manifested in my early work being street photography. As I developed my curiosity and skills, photography turned from hobby, into a career early in 2017.

My drive to authentically document people was the main influence in developing my portfolio. Simply, I am incredibly fascinated by humans and I have a unique opportunity to understand and tell their narratives in my photography. I apply this ethos in all of my projects both personal and commissioned, from people/portrait to events

Like what you've seen, Say hello!
